In our 30th year, the Välkommen Hus became a reality of many years of planning, construction, and an investment of $560,000 plus. It is a two-story frame building with a full basement and elevator for handicap accessibility. The style is 1850's Swedish farmhouse and painted Falun red. The building consists of a lobby, Scandia Butik (gift shop), restrooms, classroom (40-45 people), office, and storage.
The Välkommen Hus is open April 28 to December 22: Monday thru Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
