Swedish Immersion Day Camp (Leka I Byn)

Day Camp Dates: August 12-14
Where children "play immigrant"... visit, observe, ask questions and learn.

The Swedish Day camps are three days filled with activities which introduce children to Swedish culture, language, music, dance, food, games, crafts, traditions and literature. The instructors again this year are Carolyn and Anikka Spargo. The theme this year will be Selma Lagerlofs books on the "Wonderful Adventures of Nils."

This is for children who have completed kindergarden and up to age 12. The cost is $80 for the three days (includes shirt). Children bring their own lunch; snacks and beverages are provided.
