2009 Annual Special Limited Edition Dala Horse
The 2009 Gammelgarden Limited Edition Dala Horse draws attention to TRADITIONS IN THE TRUNK: CELEBRATING Swedish Folk Dress using the SWEDISH NATIONAL FOLK DRESS which is based on the Swedish Flag....the lovely sky blue and bright yellow. The SWEDISH POCKET PURSE is used on the Dala horse as saddle bags... and a few Daisy's adorn the back leg. To complete the design, a traditional heart shaped silver brooch is at the neck. The design and painting are the work of Natalie and Jim Norman.
You can purchase yours at the Scandia Butik at Gammelgården Museum for $60.00 each ( same price as previous limited edition horses).
This is the fourth year Gammelgården has created a special limited edition Dala Horse.
